Exciting news: The fourth hull of the Amels 80 has been sold, scheduled for delivery to her Owner in 2027. The yacht, with an exterior design by Espen Øino, will boast a Sinot interior. All details regarding any specifications remain confidential. 

Jorrit Pilaar, Sales Manager at Damen Yachting, worked with the client throughout the sales process, in collaboration with Jan Jaap Minnema, sales broker at Fraser. “Within two years after the introduction of the series, the sale of the fourth hull of the Amels 80 series is a fact. I am looking forward to the journey ahead of us.” 

Introduced in 2022, the Amels 80 has been nothing short of successful, with the first of the series now being outfitted at our shipyard prior to her delivery in 2025.  

The  fourth hull of the Amels 80 has been sold

The most recent Amels 200 in build has set sail from our shipyard today. This 60-metre Amels Limited Editions which was sold in May 2021, will now embark upon her maiden voyage ready for a private itinerary with her Owner. 

She is the third superyacht delivered from the iconic Amels 200 design which initially started out as the Amels 188 and includes VOLPINI 2 (Amels 188), STELLA M (Amels 200) and MOONSTONE (Amels 200). Together they form a unique group of 60-metre Amels Limited Editions featuring the iconic Tim Heywood exterior design. 

Tom Oomkens, Project Manager at Damen Yachting, notes, "It was so rewarding to see the Owners on board for the christening and blessing ceremony and enjoy that their unique vision became reality. They were very impressed with the magic we did in the time we had. The pride in their eyes made us forget all the hard work and long hours. For me, again I say this is the most beautiful yacht we've made, but I seem to say that with every delivery. These results would never have been achieved if we hadn't had a super well-oiled team and a lot of craftsmanship on board. Proud of the end product, grateful to the team and the team spirit!"

We proudly announce the introduction of the Xplorer 80, the latest design to join our range of luxury expedition yachts formerly known as SeaXplorer.   

 

The Xplorer 80 is the latest addition to the Xplorer range which includes the Xplorer 60 and Xplorer 105. This latest 80-metre design is the follow up to the original SeaXplorer 77 bringing an updated and next generation Xplorer yacht to our continuously evolving diverse yachting product portfolio.

Introduction of the Xplorer 80

We are proud to announce the launch of the latest Yacht Support YS5302. This 53-metre Yacht Support, the second from the YS53 design series, took place in Antalya, Turkey, in the presence of her Owner who used this build milestone to officially unveil this Yacht Support's name, FIVE OCEANS. 

Everyone present at the Damen Yachting build facility in Antalya were treated to a much anticipated first look at this Yacht Support's unique colour scheme: her striking sky-blue hull aligns with the ambitious and bold programme this support yacht will undertake and inspired by the Owner's dedication to preserving the marine environment and passion for motor racing. “You can sleep on it, fly off of it and move it. For us the Yacht Support is a platform that enables us to do all the incredible things we wanted to do,” Tommy Allen, Owner YS53 FIVE OCEANS. 

Rob Dolling, Founder & CEO at VERPEKA DOLLING Superyachts, the Monaco-based yacht sales and charter company, proudly assisted the Owner with the sale, project managed the build on the Owner’s side and will manage the vessel’s onward operation, commented, “This new, next generation Yacht Support platform is very well thought out and engineered, presenting the perfect platform for the ambitious global plans the Owner has for FIVE OCEANS. All our requests and changes, some admittedly quite elaborate, were always well received and seamlessly integrated with precision into the impressive end result.”

We are thrilled to welcome another Amels 60 to our Damen Yachting family – the seventh Amels 60, marking another success for our award-winning Amels Limited Editions series. 

Joining her Amels 60 siblings as well as other Limited Editions designs, including the Amels 200 and the first Amels 80, she is now entering the next stage of her build, with outfitting by our skilled craftsmen and women and co-makers for delivery in Spring 2025. 

With signature Amels 60 features and unique interiors by Harrison Eidsgaard, she seamlessly integrates into our yacht-building legacy, showcasing the enduring evolution of Damen Yachting. Welcome to the family!

 

Seventh Amels 60 joins her sister yachts

On February 9th, Amels 6005 was successfully launched and will now enter the final outfitting, commissioning and sea trial phases.

In keeping with the Amels Limited Editions concept, based on a proven technical platform whilst still allowing for customisation and fast delivery, this latest Amels 60 is scheduled for delivery in Spring 2024, less than three years after the sale was announced. The yacht features exterior design by Espen Øino. All other details regarding this 60-metre Amels, including the custom interiors, remain confidential.
