Fourth YS53 Starts Sea Trials

Damen Yachting’s fourth YS53, a 53-metre Yacht Support, has started sea trials, marking the next important step towards delivery later this year. Following her launch at Damen Yachting’s Antalya facility, the 53-metre support vessel is now at sea, where her performance, systems and handling are being tested in real operating conditions. 

Proving Purpose at Sea 

For a Yacht Support, sea trials bring capability, reliability and operational purpose together on the water. Designed to extend what is possible during an Owner’s time at sea, the Yacht Support 53 series offer the space, flexibility and support needed for more ambitious programmes. 

With capacity for crew, tenders, toys and specialist equipment, the YS53 adds freedom to the Owner experience, whether operating alongside a mothership or independently. 

As the fourth Yacht Support 53, she reflects the growing importance of dedicated support vessels in the superyacht sector. Following sea trials, she will continue final preparations ahead of delivery to her Owner later this year.
