The latest Amels 80 has made a successful crossing from Romania to the Netherlands. After departing from our hull-building facility in Galatz, Romania, on August 5, the 80-metre (261-foot) Amels Limited Editions yacht has arrived here in Vlissingen to join her sister vessel, which is already in the outfitting stage.

Following in the footsteps of the first hull in this successful Amels design, the second yacht will now undergo outfitting in Vlissingen in preparation for delivery to her Owner. This new addition to the Amels Limited Editions series continues our tradition of blending customisation, proven technology, and efficiency—elements that have attracted a diverse range of Owners.

Latest Amels 80 arrives in Vlissingen for outfitting

We are pleased to announce the launch of the second Amels 80 at the Damen Yachting hull building facility in Galati, Romania. This new generation superyacht is scheduled for delivery to her Owner in 2026. 

Measuring 80 metres (261 feet) in length, this Amels 80 represents the next generation of the Amels Limited Editions, featuring a sophisticated exterior design by Espen Øino and an elegant interior by Sinot.  

As the second Amels 80 makes her way to the Netherlands, the anticipation builds for her final outfitting and subsequent delivery to her Owner in 2026, adhering to our commitment to fast delivery. 

Second Amels 80 Launched

Another Amels 60 has entered the outfitting phase following her recent arrival at our principal shipyard in the Netherlands. Hull number eight from our acclaimed Amels 60 Limited Editions series, introduced in 2019, will now undergo intense outfitting in preparation for her delivery scheduled for 2025. She joins a number of other prestigious projects at our main Amels facilities which have seen a busy period with both a launch and delivery taking place in just the last two weeks.

This 60-metre next generation Amels Limited Editions features exterior design by Espen Øino with the notable signature geometric windows and concept custom interiors by Harrison Eidsgaard. For this project, their second in the Amels 60 series, the London-based Design Studio drew inspiration from a modern and smart approach to concept interiors, allowing for personalisation and designed to get the very best out of every feature the Amels 60 has to offer.  The result is a serene and relaxed ambiance, ensuring an exceptional onboard experience.

Outfitting to Start for Next Amels 60

We proudly announce the launch of the latest Amels 60. This significant milestone in the build of the sixth yacht from this next generation Amels Limited Editions design took place in Vlissingen, The Netherlands.

 

The Amels 60 Limited Editions showcases a forward-thinking design based on the solid foundation of craftmanship and the proven platform of our naval architecture. The exterior design is the work of naval architect Espen Øino, combining experience, elegance and innovation. The custom interiors of this Amels 60 are done by Winch Design, the design studio appointed by the Owner. 

 

Following the launch, this Amels 60 will undergo her final outfitting at our yard, until ready for delivery to her Owner at the end of 2024.

Launch of the latest Amels 60 

Described as “a fantastic evolution of the Amels 60” by the judges, ENTOURAGE stood out as the clear winner in the category Displacement Motor Yachts, 500GT to 999GT. We are proud that the judges recognised ENTOURAGE’s high-quality build, technical excellence and elegant lines provided by designer Espen Øino.

The degree of customisation done to the exterior - expanding the outdoor spaces, elongating the geometrical windows and extending the sundeck and bridge deck - is even more remarkable as the yacht is part of our Amels 60 Limited Editions series. The extension of the two aft decks by 1.5 metres results in a totally different looking boat which optically creates the illusion of an elongated forward part.

The Owners worked closely with Burdifilek’s Diego Burdi to take a complete different approach towards ENTOURAGE’s interiors, creating an overall sense of serenity on board. 

Amels 60 ENTOURAGE wins WSA 2024

The delivery of YS 53, BAD COMPANY SUPPORT 175 is a fact. This 53-metre Yacht Support (175 ft) is the first of the YS 53 design series and has been handed over to her Owner. She will now take on an ambitious ocean-going deep-sea fishing and conservation programme as part of the Owner’s BAD COMPANY fleet.  

   

The vessel's design and performance have been meticulously tailored to cater to the Owner's preferences. BAD COMPANY SUPPORT 175 will not only serve as fast support to the fleet, she will also operate as a main hub for Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Ocean based activities providing a technical and functional base for equipment and dedicated programmes as well as long and short term onboard living and accommodation facilities for the Owner and his specialist crew.

Throughout the project, communication with the Owner's representative, Neil Emmott, has been open and transparent, ensuring effective collaboration and understanding of the Owner's specific requirements. Neil Emmott explains: “In pursuit of a lifelong dream, the Owner's involvement has been crucial in shaping the project, with enhancements based on his personal and very specific requests, such as accommodating a game boat, including a helicopter hangar, adding a custom jacuzzi, transforming the main deck lounge into a dedicated strategy meeting room, and integrating a Starlink antenna for improved connectivity.”
