Damen Yachting Refit Returns to Metstrade 2026

Following a successful joint presence in 2025, Damen Yachting will return to Metstrade from 17 to 19 November 2026, alongside Damen Shiprepair and Damen Maaskant. Building on last year's participation in the dedicated Refit Cluster, the three companies will once again present their combined expertise in refit, maintenance, conversion and lifecycle support. 

 
Dutch New-Build Expertise, Proven in Refit 

With 25 years of continuous refit experience, Damen Yachting combines the engineering knowledge, craftsmanship and technical capabilities of a full-scale new-build shipyard with the flexibility and specialist expertise required for complex superyacht refits. Operating from the Netherlands' largest superyacht hub in Vlissingen, this expertise extends well beyond our own Amels, Xplorer and Yacht Support fleets. From technical upgrades to extensive rebuilds, Damen Yachting welcomes yachts from all builders. 

Projects such as Amels Full Custom HERE COMES THE SUN (now sailing as MIRAGE), Amels Refit MOONSTONE and Amels 242 SYNTHESIS demonstrate this breadth of experience. The rebuild of HERE COMES THE SUN, extended from 83 to 89 metres, showcases the yard's engineering capabilities and new-build expertise. The transformation of Delta-built ALBATROSS into Amels Refit MOONSTONE, including a substantial 7.5-metre extension to the transom and entirely reimagined onboard spaces, demonstrates its ability to take on complex refits beyond its own fleet. Meanwhile, SYNTHESIS highlights the value of returning to the original builder, where in-depth knowledge of the yacht supports long-term maintenance and technical upgrades.
