Amels 80 Project Zurich Departs
Damen Yachting is pleased to announce the delivery and departure of the Amels 80 Project Zurich, following a highly personal build process shaped by a distinctive Owner’s vision and an art-led interior.
A Highly Personalised Owner Vision
The Amels 80 Project Zurich is a striking expression of the Amels Limited Editions philosophy, uniting the proven pedigree of the Amels 80 with a highly personalised Owner’s vision. Developed in close collaboration with a superyacht design studio that remains confidential, her innovative interior is distinguished by a refined contemporary character, understated warmth and quiet sophistication. A carefully considered curation of contemporary art by international artists has been integrated throughout the yacht, creating a subtle dialogue with the interior design and lending depth, texture and individuality to the onboard experience. Project Zurich is a true masterpiece.
Sander Peeters, Project Manager at Damen Yachting, says: “Project Zurich has been an exceptionally rewarding yacht to bring to life. From the very beginning, the collaboration with the designers and the Owner’s representative team was defined by clarity, trust and a remarkably fluid exchange of ideas. We are proud to have delivered Project Zurich on time, exactly on budget, and true to the original vision.”
Setting off from Vlissingen, Project Zurich is now making her way towards the United Kingdom before continuing on to the Baltic Sea and the Norwegian fjords. Her departure marks another significant moment for the Amels 80, a design that continues to strengthen its position in the 80-metre superyacht sector while underlining the enduring appeal of the Amels Limited Editions approach.
As Project Zurich begins her first cruising season, Damen Yachting extends its warmest wishes to her Owner, Captain and crew: fair winds and following seas.
