Singapore Yachting Festival
From 23rd – 26th April 2026, Damen Yachting will be the exclusive flagship sponsor for the Superyacht Lounge Pavillion at the Singapore Yachting Festival. As interest in larger yacht ownership continues to grow in this region and with an increasing number of superyachts venturing into Southeast Asian waters, we recognise that the Singapore Yachting Festival plays an instrumental role in bringing together key decision-makers from across the Asia Pacific region and our attendance is a commitment to our presence in Asia.
We will be presenting Damen Yachting’s diverse portfolio of superyachts including the Amels 60 and Amels 80 Limited Editions, Xplorer expedition yachts, and Yacht Support vessels. Through a curated combination of showcase yachts, scale models, and an immersive AR experience, visitors will be able to fully explore our range and gain a true sense of the versatility and innovation behind each product. We will also highlight several major refit projects completed in 2025, alongside our ongoing and future refit programmes.
We will also be attending the SEA Yachting Conference 21st & 22nd April 2026 at Sentosa Cove. This two-day industry platform focused on the realities of the boating and yachting market in Southeast Asia bringing together marina operators, yacht builders and dealers, charter companies, shipyards, service providers, government representatives and regional stakeholders to discuss market conditions, infrastructure, regulation and future development across the region.

The Importance of Asia
“Despite the exceptional cruising, diverse landscapes, cultures and countries and a longstanding affinity with yachting, the Asia Pacific region remains largely untapped as a superyacht destination in comparison to Europe and America. Whilst there has been growth in yacht Ownership in the region, in the number of superyachts venturing to these waters, and in the investment the region is making in unleashing its potential, there’s still a long way to go if it’s to be become a genuine hot spot” Sarah Flavell, Marketing Manager, Damen Yachting stated, “There is, however, a sense that a shift is coming. It’s a work in progress and brings challenges for companies looking to tap into the opportunities. This is a market that matters but requires guidance and support. Navigating the intricacies of cultural differences, regulation difficulties and sustainable infrastructures that work to what our industry needs and expects is a longer-term project. Not inconceivable but not a fast fix.”
To undervalue the importance of this region over the next decades would be a mistake.
